I thought it was time after all these really nasty negative posts to remind people who I am really. BB
And remember my motto;
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body
But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Diet Coke in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
“WOO HOO what a ride!”
Hugs, Maxine
Have a wonderful day!

Diet Coke? Good lord, woman. Mixed with bourbon at least.

LOL LOL LOL I have looked at this for the past three days and laughed. David, you are good for my spirit! I always enjoyed Maxine but never thought of her being my double. It was friends who sent me a book of her cartoons and convinced me to take a good look (or read rather) and see if I did not agree that Maxine was me. I have the same caustic tongue when I don’t rein it in, which I usually do Thank Goodness. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have the thought and sometimes share it with a friend. Just too mean of me I know, but….what can I say when this brain of mind just takes over? I most certainly share her attitude towards living for all I’m worth (pray tell how else does one drink diet coke except with bourbon?) The only difference my friends assured me is that one never sees Maxine smiling and seldom see me not smiling. Except of course when I am on one of my blogging rants! BB

I sensed this aspect of your personality, based on your description of your past life. Those of us who take life seriously have to periodically become goofballs to maintain some modicum of sanity.
