This letter is indeed written by Mr. Lou Pritchett. What I find so disheartening about it is the sad fact that Obama scared me before he was elected and for only the mildest of the reason Mr. Pritchett gives because I would never have dreamed the criminal actions a President of the United States could get away with it. President Obama gets a pass from his cohorts who control Congress and almost worshipful praise from the Main Stream Media. The Chicago gangland thugs he has appointed to his staff extort and intimidate banks and businesses to do as he wants with no one willing to stop him.
His Chicago gangland thug Attorney General Holder simply throws out any case of criminal behavior by those who back Obama. The Black Panthers were taped and interviewed by reporters turning Whites away from the polling place while brandishing clubs and yet Obama’s Attorney General saw no crime. He is also pulling the plugs on all the cases against ACORN.
The list goes on and on but like Mr. Pritchett if Obama is not defeated in 2012 then by 2016 neither he nor I nor anyone else in America will be able to write such a letter and remain unincarcerated, or worse. BB

AN OPEN LETTER TO LOU PRITCHETT
You are the umpteenth conservative I’ve had to listen to over my life and just like Nixon you truly scare me.
You scare me because no one knows you and yet many will believe your propaganda letter. Our President wrote two books about himself if you want to know him.
You scare me because you didn’t read his books, which is what gave him royalties to pay off his and Michelle’s student loans. That upscale lifestyle you speak was their annual income of $430,000 in which 62% of it was Michelle’s (265,000). The remainder was his senate salary. This is public knowledge by the way.
You scare me to think that Hawaii is not culturally American, which is where he spent his life from birth to the age of six, in which his mother made the decision to move to Indonesia until returning years later. He came back to Hawaii for high school. Please don’t refer to him as not being culturally American because his mother chooses to leave and come back while he was six.
You scare me Lou because you believe that running a company and payroll will help us in mess brought on by the CEO’s from corporate America who are really gifted when it comes to payroll and CEO salaries.
You scare me to think that a man must have military experience to lead the military, I would like to tell you about the greatness of both the Adams and Jefferson and what they have done for this country with no military background, but let’s look at two modern ones- Wilson and FDR, hmmmm, I think those two might have helped us win a couple WORLD WARS!!!! With no Military background I wonder how they did that? You also scare me because you don’t realize Barrack’s grandfather joined the U.S. troops when we were attacked at Pearl Harbor when FDR called on him, who by the way helped raise him in Hawaii, I think his grandfather would have installed some American culture by this example alone.
You scare me to think that our President lacks humility and class while blaming others. Let’s see a direct quote “I screwed up” – President Barrack Obama in regards to his Daschle appointment. Well that seems pretty humble to me.
You scare me to think that there’s a correlation between a man who bombed buildings when Barrack was eight years old and decades later when they serve on the same educational board. Now he has ties to domestic terrorism! Really! I mean really? Come on; do better than that correlation to that old hippie Bill Ayers. Let’s see what the President said on YOUR Bill O’Reily show on 9-9-08 SEN. OBAMA: “This guy is not part of my campaign. He’s not some adviser of mine. He is somebody who worked on education issues in Chicago that I know. The problem that your viewers, your guys, your folks, the folks you champion, the problem you’re going through, the problems they’re going through with trying to pay their bills, trying to keep their job, trying to move up in this world, their problem isn’t Bill Ayers. It was Bill Ayers 40 years ago when he was blowing stuff up.” Do you know Lou how many men served along side Timothy Mcveigh in the U.S. Military, hundreds of thousands and all those troops are now terrorist associates right. Sounds a little far fetched.
You scare me to think that America’s never wrong and that admitting to doing wrong is in some sort of way unpatriotic, read some of Thomas Jefferson’s writings if you want to see how an intelligent man views a hypocritical country he’s trying to run when he himself is of moral integrity. We have made mistakes and it is ok to say sorry. The Nazi’s and Soviets thought they too were always right and I think history has proved them wrong when it comes to such arrogance. Such arrogance will never be respected let alone trusted.
You scare me to think that our President actually had a choice when it came to bailing out these fortune 500 companies that had failed miserable at the hands of the Bush administration economic policies that ran amuck along with the housing market. No one wants socialism, but you can’t let corporate mistakes ruin the whole country or even the world economy for that matter.
You scare me to think that you think the Health care system doesn’t need a complete overhaul. Everyone knows that, even the Republicans are trying their own health care reform bill. What actually scares me is that you probably don’t know anyone who has never had health insurance let alone watching your mother die while worrying about her own bills. Again President Obama- “For my mother to die of cancer at the age of 53 and have to spend the last months of her life in the hospital room arguing with insurance companies because they’re saying that this may be a pre-existing condition and they don’t have to pay her treatment, there’s something fundamentally wrong about that”. It scares me to think that you have no empathy for such people nor will you ever understand. Someone has to get involved or some of us will parish under the current system. Do you know that government health care has already been successful throughout Europe and our sister country Canada, why do we have to be behind the times with our medical care?
You scare me tremendously when you say that oil and other old sources of fuel that is untapped in this country and cause global warming are in preference of windmills. Okay? Based on what? Profits? Well then yes, anything else is destroying our planet. Again the world’s most renowned scientists all agree on this consistently already.
You scare me to think that President Obama is killing the golden goose, Bush administration has already been there, done that. AIG, Fannie Mae, and Freddy Mac have already inflated and killed the American Dream for the millions of Americans who now can’t pay their mortgage.
You scare me when you think the banks are being extorted. Read anything regarding the corruptness of the Federal Reserve and then talk to me about extortion and banks, they have extorted us throughout history and always will.
You scare me to think that the democrats don’t worry about how much it is going to cost us to clean up the Bush mess, billions is nothing when we start talking trillions. We all suffer now from your fear.
You scare me when you think that he doesn’t listen to intelligent opposition, yet he has appointed many republicans alongside of himself including John Mccue, the veteran congressman from upstate New York who joins his former colleague from Illinois, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood , and Utah Gov. Jon Hunstman , the ambassador-designate to China, are among the ranks of Republicans in the Obama administration, a list that nearly included New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg as Commerce Secretary. He even kept one of Bush’s cabinet memebers with Robert Gates as Secatary of Defense.
You scare the crap out of me when you think that President Obama believes he all-powerful and infinitely wise. When did he declare himself the second coming? Just because Oprah thinks he is the “ONE” doesn’t mean he does. Please stop twisting and believing everything Rush tells you. Again does the all-knowing ever say, “I screwed up”.
You scare me to think that the press gives him a free pass on everything. The media in itself is just one thing that has been wrong with this country for decades and now you blame our President today. The media is a puppet and some people have always known that and the first President to acknowledge that and use it to their advantage was a great republican I’m sure you idolize by the name of Ronald Reagan. In On Bended Knee, a book about the press and Reagan based on interviews with scores of journalists, news executives and Administration officials; there are numerous cases of self-censorship. The management of CBS News, allegedly the most liberal of America’s TV networks, ordered its Washington bureau-in particular White House correspondent Lesley Stahl-to tone down criticism of Reagan because ordinary Americans supposedly didn’t want to hear it. At the New York Times, correspondent Raymond Bonner was pulled off the Central America beat after his expose of a civilian massacre by US-trained forces in El Salvador angered Administration officials and their right-wing allies at the Wall Street Journal editorial page. A camera crew for ABC News filmed troops on their way to Grenada and got confirmation of the impending invasion from US officials in the region, but their executive producer in New York trusted an off-the-record denial by the Pentagon more than his own reporters and killed the story. He had the nickname Teflon Ron in this regard, what about the man who invented this game Lou?
You scare me to think that Limbaugh and O’Reily are not already looked upon as demons and propagandist among the majority of people in this country. They only sell seeds of hate and mistrust that leads ignorance to become rampant among the religious right. If Obama thinks that then why did he go on Bill’s show? They will have you believe that they are the ones being ousted and the mainstream media is on par with that “ Elite Black guy”. We know this already by them blaming then nominee Obama for the stock market crash in November before the election even started! Some intelligent people realize that President Obama did not have anything to do with the collapse of the U.S. economy and voted for him. Some don’t, and then again some people blame all Jews for the death of Jesus. When you go to Rush Limbaugh who was fired for racist comment regarding a black quarterback (Donovan Mcnabb) for your information, then expect to think like bigot if you listen to one.
You scare me because you prefer hate instead of common sense. When will you realize that your bipartisan right wing conservatism hate is a thing of the past? The people already know and have spoken. We DON’T believe you. We don’t believe in your fear that has already crippled the whole country since 9/11. We don’t believe in your fear of our first black president because he’s our first black president. Do you honestly think that we believe him to be an unknown, elite, un-American, financially inept, classless, terrorist sympathizer, who hates America but loves Europe and is also a corporate killing, socialist, extorter, who doesn’t listen to intelligent people like Rush Limbaugh because he thinks that he is Jesus Christ. Get a grip Lou! We don’t and never will believe in your fear, FDR has already warned us of your hate mongers and even stopped one by the name of Adolph while warning of another by the name of Joseph. When will we learn our lessons of fear mongering that you use are the same as Hitler used in scaring the German people that the Jews were out to get them? The same fear that drove Stalin to kill millions of innocent people. You either do not know history or you do and if you do my dear sir it is truly scary.
Finally, you scare me because some people will actually never read my letter and only yours. When do we have a world in which fear does not reign over freedom? When will all men and women be created equally in your eyes and those that believe your letter? When will the hate stop? When will the lies cease to exist? Will we ever be able to base people on their merits and not the words of others. When will we as one nation under God be just that? When? Hopefully soon because you are truly SCARING THE HELL OUT OF ME!
P.S. I know my letter is a little longer, but that happens when you include some facts in trying to tell someone that they no longer have to be afraid of the “Elite Black Devil”, he just might be good person after all. By the way the ones who should be really scared are the republicans. Letters like his is what killed your party and made it into a Southern Political Machine with no sign of any hope. Did I say HOPE? Cause now I finally have some! Oh yeah this letter doesn’t have to be initially anonymous either!

Thank you Mr. Carroll for your well written response to this letter that I posted on my blog site and in the main agree with. I have carefully read your letter and must say I do not agree with many of your points as most I feel are very weak indeed in comparison to the actions President Obama has taken since he has been elected that are also scaring the BBBBs out of me.
I am one who looks at actions over words. Words are just that : words and often lying or boosting or simply meaningless words. But ACTIONS, now these we can see and touch and understand. This is why I personally must reject most of what you write.
And just because something was done “before” and Obama didn’t “invent” the game is no reason to do it. Presidents before Nixon always got a pass on more personal issues or ones they considered national security. After that the press slowly ramped up their belief that” the people have the right to know” everything about a President, even how bad his feces stink, which I simply don’t agree with.
However, Please come back and comment anytime you wish on my site. I respect dialogue and different points of view as sometimes I am told something I had not considered that changes my point of view. This old bird is still able to think and consider and change

In the near future after the US economic defaults and crashes, there will be a new illness folks will hide behind. It will be call Obama-blindness. It will always be prefaced with “I can’t believe that I just couldn’t see this coming. . . .” or “How could I have been so blind to these many promises?”

Read page 16 of the healthcare bill. When 2013 asrrives if you young people change jobs….lose company insurance; your company goes broke…….lose your insurance; you CANNOT buy private insurance. You MUST go into the government insurance program. The biggest liar in presidential history keeps repeating, “You won’t lose your insurance or have to change your insurance.” Well, you won’t on the day it passes, BUT you get your butt kicked after 2013, real good…..no more option! Now let me tell you a parallel lie….”Here is a hand grenade. If you pull the pin and release the leaver it won’t blow your head off.” Well, it won’t…..not for FEW seconds…..but after a few seconds it WILL blow your head off. Wisely retired, Love that moniker you have there! My husband also feels “wisely” retired as he is contend to do anything he wants or doesn’t want to do and considers it just fine and dandy. Neither does he feel he must justify his actions if he spends the day on the computer playing cards with his buddies. I on the other hand, have had a real problem with retirement as I feel I should be busy doing something “productive”. So I blog, have an eBay store, tear in and start projects that I never seem to finish as my energy just plain gives out so have an apartment full of half finished “projects” or worse yet: the materials for a project that are still sitting around in the store bags. I even feel guilty if I spend more than an hour reading a silly romance novel rather than a serious political discourse. So silly of me! Like who cares what a 68 year old over the Hill broad does or doesn’t do??!

Now to topic: The Health Care bill is terrifying in its implications for the government completely controlling our lives and in some cases, the implementation of our death. The first blog I recommend is more detailed and takes each article in the bill and breaks it down for the reader. The blog I recommend at the bottom ( HEALTH CARE? ) is much easier for the reader as the blogger merely enumerated the many seriously flawed items in the bill.
I have been home just over a weak from surgery (post: And So I Go: Until Tomorrow. BB ) so am still lacking energy and have not been doing my usual browsing of upteen news sources daily and reporting on those I think my readers should take note of, but have instead been trying to catch up and keep up with my favorite bloggers. So I have been in effect blogging the blogs, or cross blogging all this week. The bloggers I quote I have researched and found them to be excellent sources who always give references for their comments and conclusions. They too are listed to the right according to their blogging interests.

Mr. Pritchett is a right wing extremeist and classist snob. He is one of those wall street tycoons who became a billionaire from draining middle class America of it’s wealth. He hates the poor and middle class and prefers a ruling class aristocracy and a Junta style military run country as in South America. He is capitalist pig. His management proposals, practices and philosophy were part of what lead to the current economic meltdown – the worst since 1929. What really scares Pritchett is that for the first time since the Kennedy administration he will have to actually pay taxes like the rest of working class America. What flabercasts me is that these free range capitalist sharks have destroyed the economy while making themselves sinnfully rich and still yet people listen to them. The only thing we have to fear is fear mongers like Pritchett.
It astounds me that anyone can attatch themselves to the liars and bullshitters in D.C. and that includes dems/ reps. Our strongest powers as legal citizens are our protests to the non in touch politicians who are so corrupt with power that they dare to break laws that have been on the books forever and flaunt them. I have a few pet peeves that if brought to fruition would put a lot of politicians out of work or in jail…..we can and must usurp these despots and regain OUR AMERICA BACK………
Paul, that’s exactly why I spend a good portion of my day reading everything I can to find out what they are doing and to pass it on to my Readers. Americans are waking up and we will take back our country.
I know how you feel about the kool aid kids. I am dumb founded when I listen to some of the stuff they seem to actually believe. They are so sincere. They have been brain washed probably since their college days and simply do not have the intelligence to break away and look at what they are saying and doing. Poor fools. I have trouble believing that the letter from Mr. Pritchett is authentic. My primary concern is that a knowledgeable and savvy executive of such a large and prestigious company would be more skilled in getting his viewpoint and concern expressed regarding what he believes the president is doing to the country.
The style of a powerful executive is to make an intelligent and carefully substantiated statement of facts and concerns, but would always be cognizant of the need to write in a style that would not uncessessarily put his corporation in jeopardy. The record of retaliatory actions on the part of this administration is too well known for an executive to lay out things that so closely deal with the talking points one finds on blogs and partisan sites.
This is the biggest problem that we conservatives face today and that is the continuing amount of “made up” letters and protest from prominent figures that are then used by the administration and leftists to demonstrate to the public that our poor, hard-working and dedicated champion of “Change” faces only the resentment of mendacious and viscious attacks from the zany right wing zealots.
When are we going to learn that most people, particularly the independants are willing to listen to truthful and intelligent discussions of the perils of what this administration is attempting to do to our invaluable constitutional Republic and what will happen to all of us if they are not stopped.

I don’t know what else to tell you. It is my understanding that snopes.com is considered by most as a reliable source.
Now if you are referring to what is written above as lacking in factual data and “savvy” then you must blame me Brenda Bowers, or BB as I customarily sign my own work. In this I apologize for my inability to intelligently state my concerns with facts and in a style that would not offend the recipient. But you see BB is not the head of any corporation and frankly doesn’t give a dam what the creature and his minions think of her. If you had read other posts on this blog you would see that both Lou Pritchett’s and my statements in this instance are mild in comparison to most of my accusations against this current resident of the White House.
My sole purpose for writing this blog is to keep my readers informed as to what is happening in our country. I try to choose topics that I feel the main stream media or even FOXNEWS will not cover. Jordan, I am inclined to agree with you. China and India own us as they are now paying our bills. If they either one should start calling in our notes we are dead in the water because of Obama and the Democrats out of control spending. It is now so beyond redemption that we will never crawl out without a whole lot of painful cuts to our way of life. Then again we have lived the high life and now the party is over. See Greece? that will be us in a year or two or three when we get a tough love government in place.
China and India however continue to need us as we are the greatest buyers of their products and if they take us under they will destroy their own economy. They are however working to create an affluent Asian market and then the American-Europeans ruling junta will see their demise.

Jordan, I don’t know your age but are you willing to tighten your belt to the point of what we will consider poverty? Are you willing to give up Social Security? You do know that the amount you paid into SS is returned to you within two years of retirement and after that you are really and truly living on the backs of your children with Elderly Welfare?
Are you willing to give up Medicare and cut back on all the doctor visits unless you are sick? In the past 10 years I have visited a doctor approximately 30 times. Half those visits have been for nothing more than “check ups” and an opportunity for the doctor to write me another prescription. I started eliminated those pills I was taking one at a time to see if there was a difference in how I felt. I went from 12 pills daily to seven. then I cut out a the three and for times a day pills to once a day. Guess what my blood tests given by the doctor has been much better! I never mentioned the changes to him.
Are you willing to give up your cell phone? You know we managed to live very well and raise our families without instant communication. I often wonder what so many people have to say to each other that can not wait until a face to face encounter!!
Are you willing to give up eating out? Are you willing to wear your clothes until they show wear and empty your closet of ten pairs of pants and twenty shirts when three pair of pants and 10 shirts will see you thru any occasion?
Are you willing to have no more than three pairs of shoes and to go to the shoe repair shop for new heels and soles? Fix the appliance rather than throw it out and get a new one? And I could go one and on with this. This is how my grandparents lived all their lives and my parents lived most of their lives until they caught what i call “affluenza” ( affluence gone wild) I have always lived with affluenza and except for a brief time early in my marriage when the babies were coming never really had to watch my spending.
Are you willing to admit that social equality is a punk dream? That some people will always have more and do more than other folks because some folks are smarter and /or work harder? That it is our duty to see that people do not starve but when homeless people and those on welfare and public housing can have cell phones and cable tv and someones name on the back of their jeans then the system of government controlled charity has gone to far and it is time for us the people to decide who, where and how much we will give of our own worked for dollars?
This all is what we Americans are going to have to do in order to bring our country back to liberty and freedom for all. BB

educational history (Columbia), is there any way
to proove or disproove any of this???

Dear James, ALL colleges and universities keep a record of ALL their students, even those who do not graduate. This record, or transcript, gives information on the students time at the institution and course taken and grades. These transcripts are important to the student because if they should attend another school they can verify the courses and credits they have earned at another institution and have them apply towards a degree. All colleges and universities then can verify that a certain individual has attended and taken classes at their school. The information on the transcripts however are private unless released by the student.
So if Obama attended Columbia it would be easy to verify this fact. No transcript means he did not attend that school.
I have not looked into this matter as it hasn’t really caught my interest. His statement that the United States has 57 states assured me of his lack of an education. I haven’t seen the letter you mention but I do know others have looked into and tried to verify his education and since there is some question as to his getting the class credits he needed to graduate with a degree there certainly is a question as to how he was able to qualify as an attorney. Possibly he used “The Chicago Way” to obtain his attorneys credentials

Re: 57 states….it’s pretty clear from watching the video, doing a bit of math, and exercising a bit of reason and logic that he meant to say 47 states with 1 more to go, but slipped and said fifty instead of forty. A slip of speech is not to be confused with lack of intelligence.
The original Lou P. letter was statement after fear-inducing statement with nothing backing it up. The original poster here at least had the decency to back up his counter-arguments with facts.
You called the original poster’s points “weak” but neglected to directly address any of them to defend your position. I’d like to see why you think they are weak.
Okay I’ll give him that one. Now will you give me the other 568 really bad “slips of the tongue” he made while campaigning? i won’t even mention those made since becoming President. BB

You ignored the first call to back up your opinion of the original poster’s “weak” points, then threw out a large number (568) of instances of Obama’s “slips of the tongue”, to which I challenged you to cite a source so I could examine them myself. Your response? Condescension and dismissal.

TJRii, The figure 568 sticks in my mind and was given by a guest on O’Reilly who was writing a book on Obama’s Campaign. I am sorry I don’t recall the author’s name as I wasn’t interested in reading the book; I lived thru the campaign. That number was so huge it just stuck in my mind. I know there were many, many “slips of the tongue” as you want to call them. And they are still going on and on every time he gets off of his teleprompter. Obama education is sincerely lacking in historical facts among a great many other things. If he gradualted from Harvard and so many of his advisors ghradulated from Harvard I have lost a lot of respect for that institution.

I have an idea. How about we TRY IT and see where we go. There’s so much stupid infighting going on in Washington that I am truly suspect of their patriotism. Why not TRY the policies of one party. Imagine if democrats got all their major bills passed. If they don’t work, go back and try policy of the OTHER PARTY…ok, who goes first? Certainly doing this will be no worse than where we’ve been the last 11 years. Plus it would eliminate so much conjecture about whether certain policies WILL or WILL NOT work. In fact no one really knows because nothing gets done.
I am also more worried about middle eastern muslims in the US. They thing they are better than you. They came to the USA with silver spoons and have not served our Country at all in the military. I would love to know the statistic of how many middle eastern people are in the US military. Next time you are passing a middle eastern person notice that they will stare you down. I work with some and they do not even talk to you.
