The Senate Health and Public works Committee Passed Cap & Trade Climate Change bill out of committee so it could go to the floor for discussion and vote. Was passed out of committee without one Republican vote. One Democrat, Sen. Max Baucus voted against sending the bill to the floor.
Democrats are saying the Republicans are holding up energy reform, but at the same time the Democrats are not allowing any development of our own natural resources.
Also listen to Rep. Paul Ryan the ranking republican member in the House Budget Committee. This is an excellent explanation of what the Republicans are proposing to fix our health care system with out a total government take over of our lives.
