For you who like polls and to see how Americans feel about the issues there is no better site than that of the Pew Research Center.. I go there for a little lite entertainment since ui am very much aware that our politicians who should be paying attention are not. It does however give me an idea where I personally stand with my fellow Americans. And, it seems that for the first time in my life I am right in there with the vast majority. LOL 
It only took me maturing into my late 60’s to achieve this feat.

The mood of America is glum. Two-thirds of the public is dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country. Fully nine-in-ten say that national economic conditions are only fair or poor, and nearly two-thirds describe their own finances that way – the most since the summer of 1992. An increasing proportion of Americans say that the war in Afghanistan is not going well, and a plurality continues to oppose the health care reform proposals in Congress.
