Obama should be impeached for the things he is doing.  Of course to do that would take the Senate and with the Democrats and Harry Reid in charge in the Senate there is no way they will act against this fiend.

Many are just calling Obama “stupid” and “uninformed” and “out of touch” when he does the things he is doing that are so detrimental to our country, but I see him for what he really is: the Worst enemy our country has ever had.  He knows exactly what he is doing!  BB

 

Just when you think you’ve heard it all……

The obama administration told U.S. owned Hawker Beechcraft earlier this week they are being excluded from bidding on the US Air Force contract for a light attack aircraft. That leaves Brazilian owned Embraer as the likely recipient of the lucrative deal. I found this one hard to believe so I did a little research. It was tough because this was completely ignored by the main stream media. The information is out there on several conservative sites. Please see the two articles linked below.

This is a double slap in the face of the United States. At a time when jobs, the economy, and security are the most critical priorities for our country, the Obama administration decides to send a defense contract to a foreign owned company.

This has to be the stupidest thing this administration has done to date. This is not just a dumb decision, it is a perfect example of why this president is such a poor leader. He talks about wanting jobs. He says we need to force companies to repatriate billions of dollars that Americans keep overseas. He wants to raise taxes so he can spend billions on stimulus that does nothing to stimulate anything.

And when it’s time to act, he sends our tax dollars overseas at the expense of American jobs and income for an American company. This is nothing more than a Chicago-style political pay back; but this time it is at the expense of our national security.

How much more damage will obama be allowed to do in the next 14 months? One of the lead stories in the media this week blasted congress for insider trading. If this contract goes to Embraer it will be a huge pay off to another George Soros company.

When will the 4^th estate do it’s constitutionally protected job and expose the real obama to the American people?

• Congress thus believes they have responded to citizen outrage at the removal of due process protection of citizens and that the NEW bill will cover this. NOT SO!
• Sad but true, seems we have to study these bills for our officials to point out their flaws and dangers. Here’s what’s wrong and the Due Process Act won’t stop it at all: This FDAA also includes a totally new merge of military authority between Federal, state and local governments.Section 515 of S1867/H 1540 establishes new DUAL AUTHORITY of state governors in conjunction with National Guard to act in “emergencies” as Federal military officers. Yes, you read that right: No more separation of state and federal branches as established and protected by the U.S. Constitution! 

Once again, WAM can’t explain whether Capital Hill has not read this part of its own new laws – or if they just don’t care about the Constitution. We can only concur with Congressman Ron Paul that this “Defense Bill Authorizes Martial Law in America” and the new forthcoming Due Process Protection Act does not correct that because it does not address SECTION 515 which federalizes and militarizes our State governments!

As a citizen who sees the sense of our separation of Federal and state authorities, I do not agree. I do not know if you did not read this part of the FDAA you just voted into law – or if you do not understand that it places state Governors in the role of Federal military (see Section 515 of HR1450/S1867.)This is a violation of the Constitutional separation of powers. It takes no imagination to see that this opens the door to Marital Law on the basis of undefined “emergency.” To quote from a part of this Section of the law you passed: “Dual Status Command allows a National Guard officer or a commissioned federal military officer to simultaneously direct both state and federal military forces.” Governors are also so authorized to serve as federal military officials. I am aware that a new bipartisan bill “Due Process Protection Act” is being introduced to clarify the discrepancies of Section 1031 and 1032 of FDAA regarding due process rights of individual U.S. citizens. However, your support  of that new bill will not redress the unconstitutional dangers of Section 515 in its merging of military powers without regarding for the separation of powers. Capitol Hill members ought to thereby be aware that passing a new Due Process Act to correct one faulty part of the FDAA will not remove the law’s DUAL AUTHORITY authorization of state Governors as Federal military officials in unclassified “emergency” actions. That Section 515 further states “no consent” of military personnel or their units is required is a further affront to citizen protections and the U.S. Constitution. As this was passed through both Houses of Congress without express concern on the part of most Republican members, we can only now ask: who in Washington can be trusted to respect the foundation of our government? To truly protect American citizens you, as our representative, must also take action to reverse or significantly limit Section 515 of FDAA. While the new Know your target audience. I have been appalled and disbelieving of the rumors of the Republicans voting for the most important right afford us by the Bill of Rights–our freedom.  MY right and YOUR right as Americans to live our lives free of the fear of being detained and locked behind bars and fences and boundaries without due process of  our laws finding us guilty of a crime.   But it has happened and some of those we have trusted the most are trying to justify their voting for the defense  bill with this little bit of betrayal tucked in it.  The  newsletter following explains it very well and also gives some actions you may want to take.   Maybe if we Americans act swiftly it won’t be too late.  Maybe.BB

Yes, you read that right – a merging of Federal and State action ON U.S. SOIL. If that doesn’t equate with a Military take-over what does? This portion of the Act has NOT been reported on anywhere! Summing it up: Has all of Congress sold US out on due process? Because this action on Capitol Hill has been so obfuscated, here is an overview: The origin of Detainee Detention goes back to the PATRIOT ACT introduced in the Bush presidency. This spring, on May 26, 2011, the House of Representatives passed a sweeping nearly unanimous update of that without press attention. Ironically, those who objected were mainly Democrats. Media about this was focused on the issue of whether “terrorist suspects” should be under military or civilian U.S. justice. That now appears to be no more than a cloud cover for the expansion of Executive and Federal authorities under this Act.  How so? This past week, Thursday, the Senate virtually rushed this Military Authorization passage through – in and out of Committee and through a nearly unanimous AYE vote – all within about a day and initiated in closed door meetings. Those of US who have been watching Congress with an eagle eye in recent years know the signs to watch for: Major media block or diversion: in this case, the “public” controversy” was limited to the issue of how to treat Middle East terrorists only. Even now, there is discussion that Obama may veto the legislation: NOT because it rids US of civil rights, but rather because he doesn’t like placing foreigners under military detention. Clouding the real issues: All other press attention was on the budget related aspects (military spending.) No one discussed its implications for authorizing unwarranted indefinite detention of American citizens for involvement in “terrorism.” (And no one at all- see left column here – has even noticed the Federal & State coordinated action/authority it places on states governors and military officers!) Sudden unexpected Capitol Hill consensus In a period of general Congressional inaction it is very rare for the Senate to move a bill through to law within one day. (This one went through Committee approval PLUS passage all in a day. That only happens when a matter is considered EMERGENCY ACTION.) As of today, Monday, there is NO further word on Obama’s supposed veto nor is their any update online on the SELECT COMMITTEE OF BOTH HOUSES ascribed to prepare this LAW for his signature (That action was calendared for Friday, December 2 – but there is still no reporting on its outcome anywhere.) We can wait no longer for more information. The writing is on the wall. If the joint committee sends this through – and Obama signs it American civil liberties become a thing of the past.    Inconceivably, this legislation has been put through by REPUBLICANS, with just a few real Conservatives objecting. Oddly enough, Democrats have been in large part opposed to these measures. What’s happened to Tea Party House members defending the Constitution? (see below.)   ASTONISHING BUT TRUE: The loophole which is enabling bill sponsors to “hide” the law’s consequences: This bill had 2 special Sections 1301 and 1302 – which seem to contradict each other regarding who is included in “terrorist” detention enforcement under military action. Attempts to amend this confusion failed – due to lack of GOP support for any clarification.    DON’T BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE TOLD BY ITS DEFENDERS: A military judicial expert has verified that this bill, while confusing, ultimately and definitely does place American citizens – and our streets – under subjugation by military (Executive) authorization: NO due process, NO proof required, NO legal representation, NO duration date to captivity.    CONTACT CONGRESS: DEMAND WRITTEN PROOF OF CITIZENS PROTECTION; INSIST STATE GOVERNORS MIND THEIR OWN STATES BUSINESS AND DO NOT MERGE WITH NATIONAL GUARD UNDER FEDERAL AUTHORITY.    OTHERWISE: What DO we even have separation of States and Federal authority? Why DO we even have a civil law system? Why DO they claim we still have any Bill of Rights at all? (See Senator Kirk video below for how many Amendments are violated by this Act.)

READ HERE RUBIO PRESS RELEASE IN DEFENSE OF HIS SUPPORT FOR DETENTION:  If there any doubts this legislation is dangerous, reading Rubio’s obscure comments demonstrates these concerns. If you check the above link, you’ll see – astonishingly – his reassurance to US states it doesn’t “detain otherwise law abiding citizens for simply carrying on in their daily lives.” Not very reassuring! This sounds like: Don’t worry, as long as you are no trouble, you won’t get in trouble.  Senator Rand Paul, Representative Ron Paul and a tragically few other strict Constitutionalists did not agree – and voted NAY – but they were in the minority. Equally puzzling, Senator Mark Kirk, who like Rubio, initially voted against cloture on these measures turned around and voted FOR it! See what Kirk’s legitimate concerns were, in his original objections. (NOTE: Several amendments were offered to clarify and ensure NO citizen could be incarcerated without due process. All such amendments were totally defeated.) S 1867 Sen Kirk Floor Speech – remember to CALL him, too. After this eloquent opposition,        he turned around and then voted FOR IT! Why?????? THE ONLY LOGICAL EXPLANATION: Capitol Hill is preparing to PROTECT US from ourselves

Overview Analysis: Here’s the BIG PICTURE no one is talking about:   While massive marketing campaigns and sell-off sales pushed up consumers Christmas shopping schedule – all avidly covered on TV – little U.S. media attention has been focused on the approaching potential collapse of the Euro and its devastating impact on America’s economy. But folks “in the know” are privately very worried. Remember Andy Sterns, the SEIU President and Obama buddy? He was forced into resignation by scandal but turned right around and began to organize PROTESTS internationally. The result? the so-called “Occupy Wall Street” near riots (here and abroad.) What a sly tactic for convincing our public officials that We the People cannot be trusted if there were to be economic collapse (aka “National Emergency” Just like the rushy-rushy (secret meetings et al) 2008 BAIL OUT, it looks like they’re at it again. Congress has just decided they must PROTECT US FROM OURSELVES – with DETENTION AUTHORITY over U.S. Citizens Plus EMERGENCY PREPARATION for National Guard action on the streets of America (with State Governors and Federal Military Officers working together – which is definitely included in HR 540 and S 3867. THE ONLY LOGICAL CONCLUSION to this insanity is that a) much of Congress neither trusts nor represents US. They think it is their job to protect us from ourselves instead of maintaining the U.S. Constitution. They are also more concerned about protecting institutions than citizens. Those new Tea Party members ((Sen. Mike Lee who voted NAY being a rare exception) either did NOT read – OR do not understand the legislation they have passed!

We need to do more than just “think about it”. We need to tell everyone we can (especially those who voted for Obama in 2008) that we can’t afford another four years of  the national disaster we’ve suffered through these last few years. Our situation will only get WORSE, not better if we do not elect a new president next November.

The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this : January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress : The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77 The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5% The Unemployment rate was 4.6% George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION! Remember that day… January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES! THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney) for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment…to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES! (BTW : Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie -starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy). Barney blocked it and called it a “Chicken Little Philosophy” (and the sky did fall!) And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, especially BARNEY!!!! So when someone tries to blame Bush… REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007…. THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!” Bush may have been in the car but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving the economy into the ditch. Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party. Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget. And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that period : If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

Fed Warns Unemployment May Double Great Depression

I warned last week that a recession and higher unemployment were about to hit the U.S. economy. On Tuesday, the Bureau of Economic Analysis cut their estimate of growth in the third quarter ending September from 2.5% to 2%. Then on Wednesday, the Federal Reserve rocked financial markets by forcing America’s 31 largest U.S. banks to “stress test” balance sheets to determine their capability to withstand an 8% drop in the economy; which would cause home prices to plunge by 21%, and unemployment rate to jump to 13%.

I illuminated in my report that U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has been under-counting unemployment by at least 2%. For a nation reporting 154.4 million workers; this means the 13.9 million reportedly unemployed should actually be 17 million. Given only 12.8 million were unemployed at the 1933 peak of the Great Depression, when the undercounting and the Fed’s stress test are added the total is 23.2 million unemployed; almost double the Great Depression.

(The only reason we are not seeing bread lines and homeless people flooding the streets is that now we have the federal government handing out up to 99 weeks of unemployment benefits as well as 47+ million people on food stamps.  during the Great Depression these programs were not available..  Which certainly proves the statement I have been making for decades that the next depression would make the so-called “Great” one look like a Sunday picnic.     Of course the  unemployed as well as the employed and their great grandchildren are on the hook for all the money that is being borrowed to pay for these benefits!  Which brings me to the second difference between now and then:  big business was on the hook and were the ones going into deep debt and bankrupt rather than the people via our government, but during these intervening years Congress has undertaken to protect business  and even banking by taking on the risk of doing business in America while not enforcing the rules that business “help” pay for these protective programs.  One of the most egregious business protecting programs that Uncle Sam has taken from business is the promise to pay retirement benefits if a business is unable to do so.  Companies are suppose to pay into a trust fund for these programs but they don’t and no one is watching the store to see that they do!  Companies do not even have to go bankrupt in order for the government to step up to the plate with our wallets open!  BB)

Formerly bullish top bank analyst Dick Bove in an Bloomberg interview commented on the Fed:

“By taking these draconian views of what could happen in the market, if they in fact force the banks to defense themselves against the outlook that they’ve put up, they’ll cause a recession,”

Consistent with my prediction that the booming production of capital goods would fall hard next year after the expiration of the 100% “bonus depreciation” tax credit; the bad news parade picked up steam this week with reports that U.S. durable goods orders fell 0.7 percent last month and initial jobless claims came in higher than Wall Street analyst’s predictions.

On the always dismal European front, interest rates on German “Bund” Treasury Bonds exceeded the interest rates on U.S. Treasury bonds for the first time as traders feared the financial turmoil of Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain (aka the “PIGS”) is causing a financial contagion that may implode solvency of German banks. Peter Cecchini, head of investment strategy at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York reporting on effects of the European financial crisis for the rest of the world: “Evidence is slowly mounting that containment is a pipe dream,”

In the delightful Middle East, the Aircraft Carrier George H.W. Bush left its traditional theater of operations watching Iran and the Persian Gulf, and moved to the closest point to Syria in preparation for implementing a “no-fly-zone” by American, European, and Arab League forces. CBS also just reported: “The U.S. Embassy in Damascus urged its citizens in Syria to depart “immediately,” and Turkey’s foreign ministry urged Turkish citizens on pilgrimages to “return home from Saudi Arabia to avoid traveling through Syria.”

During the month of November the equity shares of the 31 banks the Fed directed to begin their stress test have now fallen 13%; with Goldman Sachs and Bank of America trading at their lowest prices since the lows of the Great Recession in March of 2009. If the economy heads for a sharp recession and unemployment leaps, there will be hell to pay for politicians in November’s election.

And of course with all this happening our Congress men and women in their appointed  Super Committee made up of the greatest brains (?????)  in Congress failed to agree to taking  3 cents out of every dollar the government spends for the next ten years!  There seems to be a movement of saner heads in Congress to bring the President’s appointed deficit Reduction Committee’s  (known as the Simpson-Bowles Committee) recommendations to a vote.  I expect this to happen in the Republican controlled House of Representatives and to pass.  but Democrat Senator Harry Reid will not allow it to come to the floor for a vote in the democratically controlled Senate.  There are i believe now a total of 48 bills  that were passed in the House that are sitting on the shelf in the Senate!  BB

One especially egregious practice We the people should somehow stop.  I don’t know how we can stop the “buying” of congressmen and women but I do know the practice leads to a whole lot of bad behavior on the part of these Congressmen, high costs to the tax payers and the ultimate destruction of a nation.  A commenter on this blog stated her desire to see all money taken out of elections and campaigns.  I told her I very much agreed with her but human beings being the greedy pigs we are I had no idea how to do it.  Oh, and that is greedy and HIGHLY INVENTIVE pigs!

Report: Top committee members rake it in from interested industry

Does taking over the top spot on a House committee lead to a financial windfall for lawmakers? A new report suggests it does.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), looking at 10 separate House panels, found that the top Republican and Democrat had seen their fundraising totals from the industries they oversee grow at a steep rate between the 1998 election cycle and the 2010 cycle.

In all, CREW found, these chairmen and ranking members saw their industry contributions jump almost sixfold while their fundraising in general rose 230 percent.

The good-government group, which used data from the Center for Responsive Politics, suggested that its findings essentially show that industries are legally bribing top lawmakers.

“Congress would be a lot more transparent if it just put a for sale sign on the front of the Capitol,” Melanie Sloan, CREW’s executive director, said in a statement.

CREW found, among other things, that financial industry donations to Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), the House Financial Services chairman, rose by 620 percent between 1998 and 2010 – more than two and a half times the jump in his total contributions.

Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota, the ranking Democrat on the Agriculture panel, saw a similar increase — a 711 percent jump in donations from agriculture groups, compared to a 274 percent upswing overall.

Reps. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), the ranking member at Financial Services, and Fred Upton (R-Mich.), the chairman at the Energy and Commerce Committee, also saw significant increases in industry donations.
CREW also said that their research found that committee leaders were sometimes more likely to vote in an industry’s favor than colleagues from the same party.

But the group’s findings were also not across-the-board.

Peterson, for instance, voted 7 out of 10 times with industries regulated by the Agriculture Committee in 2007 and 2008, the same exact percentage as the average Democrat.

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), now the ranking member at Energy and Commerce, also got more than 10 times as much from related industries in 2010 than he did in 1998. But Waxman’s overall fundraising grew by a factor of 11.

And Rep. Edward Markey of Massachusetts, now the top Democrat at Natural Resources, saw his industry contributions jump by more than 2,500 percent in the dozen years examined.

Still, the $47,400 Markey received from industry groups in the 2010 cycle amounted to just over 3 percent of his total contributions. The Massachusetts Democrat had brought in $1,800 from those groups in 1998.

Money has always been a huge part of our federal campaign system, and it’s one reason that this country is one of the most innovative and financially successful in the world. The problem is that some groups, such as the anti-American US Chamber of Commerce, seek to make campaign contributions on behalf of foreign corporations. This seems to mean that if they rule that the people who sued had a right to sue then they would go on and rule on the legality of the personal mandate (forcing Americans to buy health insurance or any other product)  in Obamacare.   If the judges rule that these people had the right to sue then they may choose to go on and rule on the suits and the constitutionality of Obamacare.  And because of the Democrats in Congress failed to take  time to state that one portion of the bill can be ruled unconstitutional but the rest of the bill would stand then the entire bill and all of its monsterous and hateful and nation destroying mandates will fall.

If the Justices rule that the people who sued had no right to sue then the whole thing has to start over again with the “proper” people doing the suing.    This means Obamacare and its cancerous  growth throughout our government has that many more years to overtake and overwhelm.

Bottom line: it is time to pray people that the 4 sane Justices plus Justice Kennedy (we hope)  prevail against the Obama appointees on the court.  BB
