>> Forever Gone Americans right to Change a Law is in Senate Health Care Reform bill!
The more I learn of the Senate Health Care Reform bill the more horribly amazed I am at the utter hate and contempt these people have for Americans. How did this happen to us? Why is this allowed to happen and why are so many Senators voting for it? I can understand that it was impossible for the Senators to read the bill, which in itself is criminal in my opinion, but to have the page and passage pointed out to them of an outrage like the one reported below and still vote to approve the bill leaves me unable to find the words for my reactions even now after having read the article 6 days ago. Health Reform: Any law can be repealed, but the Democrats’ radical health bill contains unprecedented language that could wreck the U.S. health system permanently. It’s one of the dirtiest tricks yet.
‘Page 1,020″ — it may soon be a mantra for one of the most disturbing abuses of legislative power in history. In setting up an Independent Medicare Advisory Board, that page of the Senate health overhaul bill passed in the dead of night early Monday says, “It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.”
This enters the realm of “hyperlaw” or “laws on steroids.”
The so-called Independent Medicare Advisory Board is the “Death Panel” Sarah Palin was so out spoken about. These are indeed DEATH PANELS and there is no other name that would apply to them. From what I have been able to gather my husband and I would be ineligible for treatment for most serious illnesses that afflict the elderly. For and example: I am 68 with chronic pain due to scoliosis, am also impaired with arthritis and am obese therefore I would not have been eligible for the hysterectomy I had this past summer that saved my life by removing the cancer in my uterus. My husband at 72 has a pace maker which would make him ineligible for operations involving the heart.
Now we need to take another close look at the Obama Administration and the people our President has appointed to advise him. Connect the dots people:
Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A “Planetary Regime” with the power of life and death over American citizens.
The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?
These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology — informally known as the United States’ Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.
John Holden is not advising Obama on medical issues but is supposely working on the global warming thing that we all know now is a hoax played on the world by scientist who wanted fame and fortune. These jokers made the mistake of send emails to each other and spilling the goods about how they lied.
John Holden however did write a book stating his opinion on issues that are now finding a place in the new Health Care Reform bills that Congress is on the verge of jamming down our throats. It is difficult for me to believe that he hasn’t had some input into the health care issue.
President Obama also has as his Medical Science Czar the brother of his Chief of Staff Ezekiel Emanuel who also has some strange ideas on end of life issues and is very much in favor of the Independent Medicare Advisory Board which he sees as merely a nice social worker or doctor “advising” an elderly person that their life really isn’t worth living so they should just give it all up and refuse expensive care.
I happen to personally agree that at a certain point life is not worth living and that a person should have the right to end life sustaining care in person or thru living wills if they can not speak for themselves at the time of the illness. But, it should be the individual’s decision to make with no advise from any Independent Medicare Advisory Board.
Now the United States Senate’s health care reform bill sets up an Independent Medicare Advisory Board and then puts into the bill language that would prevent the Board and it’s activities from being repealed, changed or in anyway tampered with.
