American Thinker: Berkeley’s Unbearable Whiteness of Science

This article is unbelievable because it is racial insanity of the worse kind.  All over the country these sorts of things are happening.  I have watched our school board in Greensboro, NC pull some of the same sorts of  crimes against children.   At the same time those on the far Left where unfortunately most educators are  condemn programs that are proven to work to help students achieve regardless of race or background or any other excuse used to explain the “achievement gap”.  A prime example is the voucher program in Washington DC which is almost 100% Black  and allows parents to choose the schools their children attend has been a fantastic success but Congress  has eliminated the funding  because of the public school teachers unions.  Private schools are not forced by unions to keep incompetent teachers!

The racial madness that has left-wing America in its thrall finds its apogee in the Berkeley, California public schools. Berkeley High School is now poised to eliminate science laboratory classes because “science labs were largely classes for white students.” Eric Klein writes in The East Bay Express:

The proposal to put the science-lab cuts on the table was approved recently by Berkeley High’s School Governance Council, a body of teachers, parents, and students who oversee a plan to change the structure of the high school to address Berkeley’s dismal racial achievement gap, where white students are doing far better than the state average while black and Latino students are doing worse.

Read this whole article.  If it wasn’t true and was only a spoof it might be funny.  Now it is just sad.  BB
