>>Little Punk Congressmen – Big Government
Posted April 13, 2010on:
An interestging article that goes right along with a comment I made to one of my commenters today about members of the house of Representatives. The article talks about Representatives staffers because the staffers are the people the public has to deal with most often. But as Big government points out:
Staffers, as I have learned in more than two decades of dealing with them, reflect the views and attitudes of the members they serve with near perfection. When Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Oh) derided the staffers writing the House financial reform measure as “little punk staffers” he was – intentionally or not – calling House Banking Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass) a punk. And he was correct.
I don’t think anyone doubts that Rep. Barney Frank is a “punk” but the tiny group of people who elected him year after year after year. But the country at large has to deal with these “punks”. Remember Rep. Barney Frank almost single handedly brought about the Financial crisis and is busy right now trying to produce another even large financial break down. (i have posted on Frank several times).BB
