And So I Go: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

>>Comments from a Greensboro, North Carolina Patriot

I have taken these comments from another site (Joe Guarino ) that were made by a  blogging friend in Greensboro, NC.    Stormy  is intelligent, erudite and passionate.  I thought you should read these words as they certainly well express how I and I am sure may others feel.  BB

I fear that Barack Obama will do untold damage to this country that will not be reversible in his four years. Not only will he do tremendous damage to our economy and society, but we will descend into a third-rate country internationally. Obama is disarming our country and alienating our friends. He may well succeed in destroying Israel. How could so many American Jews have been so badly fooled by Obama’s lies about him being the best friend Israel could have? There no longer can be any doubt that he is Anti-American and a Marxist. Can there be any doubt that America has been bared itself militarily sufficiently that we are vulnerable now to an attack by terrorists or another country, such as Iran? We have betrayed our Western European allies, and they are now vulnerable to Russian domination. A war in the ME places us in a vulnerable position with energy, because we have become so dependent upon their oil (but we have maintained our pristine coastlines).

We were sold-out by the American media who refused to vet Obama at all, much less with the vigor reserved for Sarah Palin. Obama was not a Trojan Horse, he was right there for all to see, who had eyes. We had some people proclaiming what he was, but they were allowed to be marginalized. Let’s hope that America wakes up sufficiently before November, so that the Democrats lose control of both houses of Congress. Even that may not be enough to contain Obama for his last two years. He has been building a shadow government that may be able to circumscribe Congress. The Democrats in Congress have allowed themselves to become nearly irrelevant doing Obama’s and Pelosi’s bidding. All that we know about Obama is what he has told us himself, and it is disturbing that he has been surrounded his entire life by Anti-American and Marxist forces. Without a doubt, Barack Obama is the most Anti-American and radically Marxist president in the history of the country.

Barack Obama is amused and says Americans should thanking him. What?!

At DNC Fundraiser, “Amused” Obama Says Tea Partiers Should Thank Him

The Hill reports on President Obama’s remarks at a $30,000 a plate DNC fundraiser hosted by Gloria and Emilio Estefan in Miami

President Barack Obama struck a hyperpartisan note Thursday, telling Democrats that he was “amused” by the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.

Obama, addressing a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser in Miami, did little to endear himself to the Tea Party groups protesting around the country, saying “they should be saying thank you” because of the tax cuts he has signed into law.

Allahpundit reminds us of all that Americans have to be thankful for:

For starters, he’s lying: He has raised some taxes, contrary to his campaign pledge two years ago. But more than that, he seems almost to be laughing at people for being concerned about deficits. Did we or did we not learn just last night that a majority of tea partiers think their taxes are fair? They’re not some fanatic “zero tax” movement, in other words. They’re willing to pay what they’re paying now; what they want is a government small enough to make ends meet with what they’re paying. […]

What’s most amazing about this is that everyone understands the feds will need to raise taxes, and soon, to try to put a dent in our Everest of liabilities. That was the entire point of Paul Volcker, Obama’s own advisor, whispering about a VAT a few weeks ago.

Whether it’s future tax hikes or hyperinflation, Americans making less than $250,000 will pay for Obama’s runaway spending. Obamacare will drive up premiums and health care costs for a lot of people. And, of course, the majority of tax hikes which currently target the wealthy leave businessmen with less to invest and hence fewer jobs for the middle class. Thanks a lot, Mr. President.
