Yes Siree, those federal workers who average a good $70,000 a year compared to the civilians $45,000 average a year are recipients of  nice little bonuses every year just because they are there.  They don’t even need to do a good job to get the bonus.  In fact several who were caught watching  x-rated sites on the Internet were given bonuses.  Dear Lord but this government is messed up!  BB

I would like to know just what these awards are for? If they are bonuses, then for what? I mean why anyone in a governement job get a bonus? ss

Bonuses seem to be the “in thing” these days. Just as tipping all service people is expected. I was shocked to learn that my carpet installer and washer/dryer delivery and set up people all expected tips. It used to be just waiters and waitresses and maybe you beautician if you liked her work. These other people get paid a salary or hourly wage so why should they expect a tip?

People who don’t do a service get “bonuses” instead of tips. They started out being bonuses for outstanding work but then everyone it seems does outstanding work. This is just one more thing that needs to change in this country! BB
