And So I Go: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

  • This video reminded me of the home child care workers who were forced to join the union and pay dues totally against their will.  These people are thugs and any union members who follow their bosses lead in the actions they back are thugs too.

Now the international union  is planning to attack Boeing Air Craft for building a plant in South Carolina a Right to Work State (meaning a person is not forced to join a union in order to get a job! as is the case in union states such as California)  he reason the union thugs give for going after Boeing is because they build a new plant in South Carolina “deliberately” instead of building another one in California.    There were no jobs lost in the Boeing Plant in California because of this move!  The California plant is going strong with no plans to shut it down or move it!   So, this is just an example of union thuggery and by going after a big outfit like Boeing the union bosses hope to warn other companies from moving to Right to Work states.  THIS EFFORT IS BEING LEAD AND ENCOURAGED BY THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD.  OBAMA RECENTLY APPOINTED A FORMER UNION BOSS TO THE NLRB !

We the People have got to be vigilant and watch these underhanded tactics.  It is especially important that decent union members who are indeed the majority begin to recognize what their bosses are doing and demand changes from within.  BB)

Big Nannies of the Year – Michelle Malkin – National Review Online.

When we have one too many government employees for getting the specified job done  they have nothing to do but push pencils and complain that their job responsibilities are too heavy and that they require an assistant.  This  continues and continues and continues until we now have our federal government made up of a million or more pencil pushers.  Requirements for any given job, especially at the top rank, is knowing the man who does the hiring or a person of higher rank than him.  Hell, you don’t even have to know how to say or spell the name of the  position you are going to fill someone will check the right box for you.  AND, you certainly needn’t concern yourself about the required functions of that position because they are unimportant as you have your own agenda.  This then is the nanny State.  The United States governments at all levels are crowded with these  creatures who know better what is best for the public than the public itself.  This article lists some really unbelievable Nannies,  the only thing is that the are real and they are functioning alive and well in real time for your and my benefit and good.  BB

Big Nannies of the Year
God save us from more busybody bipartisanship in 2011.

It was a nefarious year for nettlesome busybodies employed by the Nanny State. Here are the top power-grabbers of 2010 — those who just can’t leave us alone:

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg
Two feet of snow paralyzed trains, buses, snowplows, and emergency vehicles in the Big Apple this week. Perhaps if Bloomberg — the nation’s top self-appointed municipal food cop — spent more of his time on core government responsibilities instead of waging incessant war on taxpayers’ salt, soda, trans-fat, and sugar intakes, his battered bailiwick would have been better equipped to weather the storm.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood
He proposed meddling mileage taxes, mused about a system to track drivers’ routes, lobbied for high-speed-rail boondoggles, and promoted a “livability initiative” to limit suburban growth and force suburb-dwellers into public transportation. Then America’s driving czar floated a plan to disable cell phones in automobiles. LaHood backed off that creepy crusade, but he is still intent on waging war against drivers who choose to use cell phones, entertainment systems, and GPS devices on the road. Just last week, the unstoppable control freak proposed a new rule banning truck and bus drivers from any use of cell phones while driving — including emergency calls on hands-free devices. His anti-car agenda is stuck in overdrive. The city of Cleveland (Cleveland by the way is one of those Rust Bel;t cities that is just about flat on it’s can with unemployment in double digits so naturally all the government can think to do is make it more difficult for the economy and their city to get up off of it knees.  BB)
The green police in this Midwestern metropolis made headlines in February with an intrusive plan to roll out snooping trash cans — “smart” rubbish bins bugged with electronic identification chips and bar codes to monitor residents’ recycling habits. Violators could be fined $100. Federal stimulus money has gone to fund a similar program in Dayton, Ohio. The technology originated in Germany, was adopted by eco-authoritarians in England (where at least 500,000 trash cans now have snitch chips embedded in them), and has spread across Europe. Welcome to the age of Bin Brother.

The city of San Francisco (Another  city now flat on its back and on life support in a state in the same morbid condition.  BB)
The board of supervisors recently took the “happy” out of McDonald’s Happy Meals by forbidding all restaurants to offer toys with children’s meals that exceed limits on calories, fat, salt, and sugar. Even the mayor of the People’s Republic of San Francisco opposes this latest food-control scheme. But the bossy City by the Bay continues to assault consumer freedom with bans on everything from plastic bags to pet sales to soda pop. This summer, Mayor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order banning Coke, Pepsi, and Fanta Orange drinks from vending machines on city property. The decree dictates that “ample choices” of water, “soy milk, rice milk, and other similar dairy or non-dairy milk” must instead be offered. (Have you ever tasted soy milk? YUCK! BB  ) It’s not clear how vendors will be able to circumvent the city’s hostility toward plastic bottles. Maybe beverages will be served straight out of those noxiously trendy reusable cloth bags?

The architects of Obamacare
After ramming a trillion-dollar package of unconstitutional federal health mandates down our throats, they said children and seniors would be saved, we could keep our doctors, costs would go down, and the economy would get a boost. Reality: Premiums have continued to skyrocket. Insurers nationwide have dropped child-only plans in the individual market. Obamacare taxes forced the AARP to raise its members’ rates. Hospitals have stepped up layoffs and shutdowns. And millions of Americans have been able to keep their doctors and coverage only because their employers, unions, or health-care providers begged the feds for special waivers. Heckuva job, health bureaucrats.

First lady Michelle Obama and former governor Mike Huckabee
Mrs. Obama first played the childhood-obesity card in September 2009, as a rationale for using her office to crusade for taxpayer subsidies for the Olympics bid of her hometown, Chicago. Her argument: Kids would stay fat, lazy, and uninspired if the Daley machine didn’t get its share of massive sports corporate welfare. Next came Mrs. O’s push for the $5 billion expansion of federal child-nutrition programs. As I first reported in February 2010, the legislation was a pet project of the Service Employees International Union, which seeks to swell the ranks of dawn-to-dusk year-round public-school food-service workers, who organize under the progressive activist slogan “serving justice and serving lunch.” In addition to school breakfasts and lunches, the kiddie-food patrol is now pushing subsidized dinners and summer food service to create a “stronger nutrition safety net.”

Nanny State Republican Mike Huckabee, who used his bully pulpit as Arkansas governor to campaign for Big Government–endorsed “healthier living” in public schools and private life, naturally sided with Mrs. Obama — and took a swipe at Sarah Palin last week for criticizing the White House’s usurpation of parental responsibility and rights. Huckabee scoffed at the idea that the feds are “trying to force the government’s desires on people.” But school bake sales are already under siege, and Mrs. Obama’s childhood-obesity task force has already called for new and dramatic controls on the marketing of unhealthy foods. Did Huckabee miss (or does he agree with) Mrs. Obama’s officious rallying cry on child nutrition: “We can’t just leave it up to parents”? God save us from more busybody bipartisanship in 2011.

Obama didn’t get it and he continued today in his little unrepentant mea culpa speech  he continued to blame Bush, the Party of No Republicans and We the People.  Heaven forbid he see the huge national finger pointing at him.   Obama has made me ill for a long time now but today i really and truly gagged while listening to him.

The union members, CIO-AFL and SEIU Service Employees International Unions which covers most government employees, were  scared or threatened by their  leaders into electing the Democrats in New York, California and Nevada.   They were afraid of the Republicans pulling a Christie on them and cutting their pensions, pay and health care benefits.  The fact that these  union perks for the government employees in New York and California are bankrupting the states. So these two states that are on the cliff and falling into bankruptcy will be coming to the rest of the country for their bail out.  I can only hope the Republicans in the House stick to what We the people have told them and allows these two states to fall on their Democratic Asses.   Then they will have to cut their spending regardless of how many union members have to give up the million dollar pension plans.

As far as Nevada and our dear old  Senator  Harry Reid,  the union members in the casinos were bussed to the polling places to vote for Harry.  He promised them  the Card check which there is no way in Hell he will get thru this House.   BB

I am third  generation in America  as my grandparents came from Russia in 1910 so I am very close to the immigrant problems and the problems of immigrants.  My grandparents however were legal immigrants and that makes all the difference.   I have said however that if I lived in a country as poor as Mexico and just by walking across a shallow river I could get a job making a decent living for my family then I damned well would.  That said I do think we need to get a handle on the problem and that MUST begin by closing our borders.  Second we must deal with the illegal immigrants who are already here in a reasonable way.  This is why I was hesitant to present this information emailed to me.  Then I remembered that I have promised to present the news I felt my readers should know  and we all as Americans should understand the cost to America of  continuing  as we have been with the problem on our borders which are getting much worse as Mexico falls into a more violent  country.  BB

I would like to add one more thing for which I am not going to add a reference because there are just too many references  from Andy Stern and SEIU Service Employees  International  Union videos.   This union accepts for membership anyone regardless of legality.  Remember this fact when you are watching the  big rally sponsored by these unions and communist and socialists organizations in Washington this Saturday.   SEIU’s head thug stated that they are sending 500 buss loads to the rally.  When asked if they all volunteered to go to the rally he stated that they “were required to go but they also wanted to go”.    Yeh, you bet.   So the upshot is that you will see a great many illegals at the rally who may or may not have wanted to attend.  All SEIU members who pay dues for the Head Thugs to use for politics and getting their socialists agenda thru.  BB

Pajamas Media » Doing the DOJ’s Job for Them: Demanding Valid Voter Rolls Before November.

Remember this man?  J. Christian Adams  is the former Department of Justice attorney who quit his job after Attorney General Eric Holder threw out the case against the New Black Panthers for intimidating voters at a polling place in Philadelphia in 2008.  He also knows just as I know that voter fraud was rampant in 2008 and will be even more so in 2010!   All the polls that show the Republicans winning in state after state are not taking into consideration the army of Obama thugs out there as well as dirty politicians.  Who would like to bet me that ACORN and the Union thugs won’t be out in force at polling places making sure only the ‘correctly voting”  as well as the “repeating voters (Meaning dead people)” get in?  BB

Doing the DOJ’s Job for Them: Demanding Valid Voter Rolls Before November

I (J. Christian Adams)  have sent notice letters to 16 states informing them that they are in violation of the National Voting Rights Act. Private lawsuits may follow if they do not comply. (Update: Don’t miss Adams’ new interview with Alexis Garcia on PJTV. Click here to watch.)
September 7, 2010 – by J. Christian Adams

(Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder taking the oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.  He should be impeached!  Hung, drawn and quartered! BB)

As the saying goes: if you want a job done right, you have to do it yourself. If Americans don’t want dead and ineligible felons participating in elections, they will have to clean up the mess themselves, as Attorney General Eric Holder won’t do his job by enforcing the integrity protections in the “Motor Voter” law passed in 1993.

Motor Voter struck an important balance — it sought to increase voter registration, as well as ensure voter integrity. Welfare offices and motor vehicle offices became voter registration centers. But the law also required states to conduct list maintenance to ensure ineligible names don’t pollute the voting rolls. Dead people, ineligible felons, and people who moved away must be removed from the rolls by state election officials.

The attorney general was given the power to enforce both provisions of Motor Voter, yet Eric Holder is only interested in enforcing one. This attorney general simply won’t do his job and enforce the list integrity requirements.

During the Bush administration, the Justice Department enforced both Section 7 (the welfare office registration provisions) as well as Section 8 (the list integrity provisions). Section 7 cases were investigated and brought against multiple states, including Illinois and Arizona. Section 8 cases were investigated and brought against multiple states, like Missouri and Maine.

The decision of the Holder DOJ to ignore the integrity provisions of Section 8 is deliberate and corrupt. In November 2009, political appointee Julie Fernandes told the entire assembled DOJ Voting Section that the Obama administration would not enforce the list maintenance provisions of Section 8. Section 8 “doesn’t have anything to do with increasing minority turnout,” Fernandes said. “We don’t have any interest in enforcing that part of the law.” End of story.

At the same time, Fernandes stressed that the DOJ would vigorously enforce the welfare agency registration provisions of Section 7.

She made these lawless instructions in front of me and dozens of other shocked Voting Section lawyers. The DOJ has never once denied that Fernandes gave these instructions, nor has the DOJ countermanded them.

This lawless policy couldn’t have a partisan motivation, could it?

Now, Americans are left to clean up the voter rolls on their own. Thankfully, Motor Voter provides a private right of action — that means private citizens can bring lawsuits against states and voter registrars who are allowing dead and ineligible voters to taint the voter rolls.

Americans are used to getting the job done themselves. Reliance on government tends to disappoint.

Using this private right of action, I have given sixteen states the legal notice required to alert them that they have violated Section 8 of Motor Voter. I am working with private citizens across the nation to help ensure that the elections in November aren’t plagued by ineligible voters. If the states don’t fix the problem, private lawsuits may follow. The sixteen notice letters rely on publicly available data and describe problems in the voter rolls.

Every two years, states must report to the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) information about their voter rolls. The latest report is troubling. South Dakota, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky and Indiana report in excess of a dozen counties with more registered voters than living people old enough to vote. Having more voters than living humans tells you something is wrong. In West Virginia, one county reported 113% of the voting age population was registered to vote. Baltimore, Maryland, reported 104% of voting age citizens on the rolls. Iowa and North Carolina also reported counties with more voters than living citizens of voting age.

All of these states received a notice letter.

Ponce de Leon wasted his time looking for the fountain of youth in Florida — he should have gone to Maryland, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Oregon, or Tennessee. These states report that they didn’t remove a single dead voter from 2006 to 2008. Some of the dead registered voters were resurrected on election day and cast ballots.

These states also received a notice letter.

Many counties in other states also have amazing longevity. Large numbers of counties in Alabama, Rhode Island, and Virginia report removing no dead voters in two years. Whatever they are drinking there, I’d like some quick.

Overall, all sixteen of these states received notice from me that they have violated Section 8 of Motor Voter because they have failed to maintain the integrity of their voting rolls. In the next 20 days, they will have the opportunity to explain why the data they reported to the EAC are wrong, or what has changed in the meantime. I will report on the responses here.

But if they are inadequate, private citizens may do what the DOJ refuses to: bring lawsuits to clean up the voter rolls before November 2, 2010.

Enforcement of Section 8 has become a bogeyman among some activist groups. They claim enforcement of the law is a sinister plot to deny the vote to eligible voters. Unquestionably, the hostility of Julie Fernandes originates in this fable. They crow that those concerned about integrity are engaged in “voter suppression.” They threaten to enlist the Justice Department to badger law-abiding citizens, apparently unaware that no such federal law exists pertaining to “voter suppression.” DOJ efforts to conjure legal theories of “voter suppression” have been met with embarrassing setbacks in the federal courts.

There are laws against voter “intimidation,” of course. But with the corrupt dismissal of the New Black Panther voter intimidation case, Eric Holder has set the bar very high on that score. Contrary to the claims of some, real legal standards define voter intimidation. Under no rational and credible legal theory do efforts to enforce Section 8 constitute voter intimidation. Shouting racial slurs and brandishing a weapon at voters? Yes, that’s intimidation. Making sure dead people aren’t on the voter rolls? No, that isn’t.

Some claim voter fraud doesn’t exist. They would be smart to reassess this myth. I have previously written at PJM that we have a long history of voter fraud, even if it doesn’t often affect election outcomes. I have cataloged dozens of instances of voter fraud at my blog, electionlawcenter.com, in just the last two months.

To opponents of effective list maintenance, Section 8 exists to threaten states who conduct robust purging programs. When Assistant Attorney General Tom Perez said that the DOJ is actually performing Section 8 functions, it was to advise states not to clean up voter rolls — as compared with my aim of enforcing the law against states who neglect to clean up the rolls. A nicely played trick of the tongue on his part.

The American story has always been about ordinary people making a better country on their own, without government. When government intentionally abdicates its responsibility, as the DOJ has done on this and other matters, it is up to private citizens to get the job done.

Whether it is the failure to secure American borders, or the failure to secure the integrity of our elections, the federal government is failing. Through the work and support of private citizens, hopefully only living, breathing, eligible voters will be casting ballots in November.

J. Christian Adams is an election lawyer who served in the Voting Rights Section at the U.S. Department of Justice. His website is www.electionlawcenter.com.

As usual Heritage Foundation lays it all out very well.  Obama’s speech, if you really listened, was very revealing.  Have we patriots time to turn things around?  I pray so.  BB

The Obama Doctrine

Aside from the wooden performance, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about President Barack Obama’s Oval Office address on Iraq last night. The President again evinced the impression that he viewed Iraq as a distraction, and he twice said he wanted to “turn the page” to other issues. As forgettable as the address was however, once placed into the broader context of foreign policy speeches and actions, a clear Obama Doctrine can now be defined, as James Carafano and Kim Holmes do in a new paper released today.

Downplaying American Sovereignty: The Administration is pursuing an ambitious agenda on international treaties. An incomplete list includes: the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) with Russia; the U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT); the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea (LOST); the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW); and the Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space (PAROS). The ideals behind many of these treaties are admirable. But in every case the onus is on the Administration to ensure that the treaty does not compromise America’s security or the rights and freedoms established in the U.S. Constitution. International institutions work best when they manage affairs between nations; they falter and become harmful when they reach into the domestic affairs of nations.

But that is exactly what the Obama administration has been doing. Just last week the White House submitted its  “Report of the United States of America” to the U.N. Human Rights Council (HRC), a body that includes such human rights exemplars as Cuba, Russia and Saudi Arabia. In the report, the Obama administration attacks Arizona’s recent immigration enforcement law and portrays its law suit against it as a defense of human rights. Is there a better example of what little interest this Administration has in upholding American sovereignty? There is no universal right to violate a country’s immigration laws with impunity. It is no violation of human rights to enforce border security and basic immigration requirements. When the Obama administration engages international institutions, it appears that E Pluribus Unum gets thrown under the bus.

Soft-Pedaling American Power: The belief that the United States over-utilized hard power in Iraq and Afghanistan has shaken President Obama’s confidence in the application of hard power at all. Instead, the President intends to use soft power so as to appear more equal at the negotiating table. Shortly after taking office in January 2009, President Barack Obama said “[if] countries like Iran are willing to unclench their fist, they will find an extended hand from us.” And how has this soft-power approach fared? French President Nicolas Sarkozy recently said: “We live in the real world, not a virtual one… President Obama himself has said that he dreams of a world without nuclear weapons. Before our very eyes, two countries are doing exactly the opposite at this very moment… I support America’s ‘extended hand.’ But what have these proposals for dialogue produced for the international community? Nothing but more enriched uranium and more centrifuges.”

The reality is that soft power only works as an adjunct to hard power. Saddam Hussein’s removal from power eliminated any possibility of a major threat from Iraq for the foreseeable future. And while Afghanistan remains an open question, only the anti-war left believes the Taliban can be persuaded to lay down their arms with promises of aid and diplomacy. Any time an American leader believes soft power is a substitute for hard power, he is bound to fail.

A More Restrained America: President Obama has made no secret of his ambivalence toward American military power. At his nuclear summit in Washington, he said: “Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower.” The President’s take-it-or-leave-it attitude toward America’s defenses has been reflected in his spending priorities. He cut funding for the F-22 fighter jet and key missile defense programs. His defense procurement budget is anemic, he has refused to modernize our nuclear deterrent, and his Administration even proposed terminating the development of the next generation Navy Cruiser with missile defense capabilities. The force structure Obama is projecting simply cannot sustain existing U.S. security commitments. Military power is not only about fighting wars; it is also about others’ perception of whether you have the means and will to defeat aggression. The perception of American weakness is a destabilizing force throughout the world.

A More Humble America: Since his first month in office, President Obama has embarked on a whirlwind Apology Tour casting himself as the redemptive vessel for the entirety of America’s past sins. Apologizing for things that happened in the past may gain popularity abroad, but so far, it has done little to change minds about our policies. If anything, it has portrayed a weaker United States not only to our allies, but to adversaries striving to gain any advantage over us. The repercussions could be grave—and here, history also provides an example. Not long after President Jimmy Carter apologized for America’s supposedly excessive fear of Communism, the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and the hard-liners revolted in Iran, taking Americans hostage.

Carter is not the only past president whom Obama is emulating on foreign policy. President Obama’s true foreign policy predecessor is President Woodrow Wilson, who also sought a more “ethical” foreign policy and sought to rely on a “concert of nations” to keep the peace. Wilson’s idealistic approach failed to stem the tide of World War I and helped to foster the isolationism of the 1920s and 1930s that inadvertently eased the road into World War II.

There is a better foreign policy vision. It is a vision that is grounded in George Washington’s first State of the Union address reminder that: “To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.” It’s a vision that is consistent with the Monroe Doctrine ideal that America is committed to the principles on which republican self-government is based. It’s a vision that embodies the Truman Doctrine’s support for peoples threatened with Communist aggression. And it’s a vision that continues the Reagan Doctrine’s “peace through strength” strategy of revitalizing the U.S. military while promoting economic growth at home and increasing support for oppressed people around the world. What all these lines of thought have in common is that America is an indispensable nation in the defense of liberty around the world.

The Obama Doctrine points us in the opposite direction. It will force friendly nations to look elsewhere, not to Washington, for arrangements that bring them greater security. And that will make this a far more dangerous world indeed.

Serious Questions Raised About Obama Tactics in 2008 Election.

No!  Not our dear President Obama.  Say it isn’t true!   I just can’t believe this wonderful, “clean” (according to VP Biden) young American (maybe?) would have anything to do with  anything corrupt.  After all he said over and over again that his administration would be  free of all corruption and the most translucent in history.  (Could he have meant perhaps Soviet Russian history or perhaps the history of Nazi Germany?).

I get a rise out of Democrats who are finally seeing the light.  Obama was so blatantly  lying during his campaign that  chain saws froze up getting thru the solid muck, but those who refused to see did not see and are now sooooo surprised.   There were those of us who were crying in the wilderness from the beginning but no one was willing to listen.  Especially the Main Stream Media! ABC, CBS,  NBC, MSNBC, and even CNN couldn’t sing  Obama’s praises enough.  In fact they were so loud and loyal that even other Democrats could not get thru to them.  The New York Times, The Washington Post and Newsweek went far beyond singing praises and actually lied for Obama.  Now we all have to pay the price for these people’s duplicity.  Creatures like Obama do not come out of the dark and survive without the help of  many, many  fools.  BB

Serious Questions Raised About Obama Tactics in 2008 Election

By Roger Aronoff  |  August 6, 2010

//

Recently AIM interviewed Gigi Gaston, director of the documentary film, “We Will Not Be Silenced.” The film documents voter intimidation and corruption by forces working for then-candidate Barack Obama at Democratic precinct caucuses and state conventions during the 2008 Presidential primary. The filmmaker is surprising in that she is a lifelong Democrat, whose grandfather was the mayor of Boston and later the governor of Massachusetts, and she is a Hollywood screenwriter.

She says that after receiving a call from a former congressional investigator, she went to Texas to look into charges of voter irregularities in the Democratic caucus process to choose their presidential nominee. It was down to Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. What she found, as described on the website for the film, was “falsified delegate counts, falsified documents, and other violations” And she describes the “disenfranchising of American citizens by the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign,” and said that the “infamous campaign of ‘change’ from Chicago encouraged and created an army to steal caucus packets, falsify documents, change results, allow unregistered people to vote, scare and intimidate Hillary supporters, stop them, threaten them, lock them out of their polling places, silence their voices, and stop their right to vote.”

Through interviews with people with a first-hand knowledge of what was going on, including civil rights activist Helene Latimer, a very disturbing picture formed of what the Obama campaign was up to in order to “win” the nomination. Attorney Gloria Allred is shown calling for the elimination of the caucuses.

Ms. Gaston described how the Clinton campaign attempted to bring evidence of some of these irregularities to the attention of the media, but they were largely ignored.

You can listen to the full interview, or read the transcript here.

Here are some additional quotes from the interview.

“In Sioux City, Iowa, alone, out of a caucus where a hundred people caucused for Obama, 40 people had the same address.  Different things like that I saw, but the people are really the things that made me realize what was going on was far more serious than what I’d gone down to do, which was basically to prove everyone wrong.  And I was even more startled that when you actually tried to say something about it, and let people know, especially the press in this country—I think not only is our voting in great jeopardy here, but I think the press is.”

“…if you had an Obama sticker on, they didn’t check ID, they just waved you into the room to stand on the side of Obama.  That happened constantly.  A lot of people weren’t even from that precinct, in that area.  If I want to caucus, and, say I’m in Venice, California, or Santa Monica, California, I can’t go to Malibu and caucus also.  There were a lot of repeats, of people going all over. Bussing in was the worst part.  I don’t know if you saw, in the documentary, where all these parents didn’t know where their kids had been taken, and they’d been taken across from Illinois into Indiana, and caucused, bought dinner, and returned.  It’s not legal to pay someone to vote for you.”

“I haven’t left the [Democrat] party yet, because I’m in to try to see if this is one last shot, that they could totally be heroic, unite the party, and address this.  I know it’s a crazy hoop-dream, but I haven’t left the party yet.  I definitely don’t believe in what—the great gifts we were given as people that came to this country.  I don’t believe that it’s still there.  I really am concerned about our voting.  I really don’t feel we’re going to have—that our votes are ever going to be represented again if we, as people, don’t go, ‘Hey!  You guys have to address this!’”
